In case you didn't get it ...

This is the "January Card" we sent out. If you didn't get one, we didn't get a Christmas card from you, we don't have your address, or something like that.
Merry New Year!

Happy January!

In keeping with the tradition we have in bucking the traditions of the world, we are sending out January cards. Who gets good mail in January on a usual basis? Yeah, that’s what we thought too.

2009 was a great year for us! Wade finally completed the requirements needed to get a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wal-Mart University The University of Phoenix, so he’s now qualified for the job he’s had for seven years. He is forever grateful for Sarah pushing him to complete that part of his schooling. He isn’t done yet, but it’s a great milestone.

Sarah received the blessing she has been so earnestly longing for, and was called to serve in the nursery in our ward. At the time she was called, there were 18 kids in her class! Wade cheats a bit and helps out during the second hour when he is done with his responsibilities with the teacher’s quorum. She is still working for the same health insurance company and is really enjoying it. Sarah changed to a short haircut this year, and looks more fabulous than ever. (Can you tell that Wade wrote this?)

We finally took a real vacation this past December and were able to go on five-day cruise of the Eastern Caribbean. We absolutely loved the time we had to spend in the warm, clear water and were able to try out our new snorkel gear. We highly recommend that part of the world for those of you who may want to get away.

We hope that this card finds you well and puts a smile on your face. May this New Year be your best ever!

Yeah . . . I have a hard time believing you don't have my address.

I was born and raised in Utah, but then, after marrying the most wonderful woman in the world, packed up and moved to Texas. We love it here and have often told people it would take an act of God to move us from this place!
